A Maintenance Program for Strata Corporations
Maintenance Operations Program (MOP) plans and structures a comprehensive Maintenance Program for owners of multi-family residential developments. MOP provides owners with the information and tools they need to maintain their property. The benefits of MOP is that property owners retain the value of their investment, while reducing the risk of maintenance related problems. The Maintenance Program includes:
- A custom, site specific, maintenance manual which houses project information, warranties, maintenance information, and contact information for sub-trades, suppliers and manufacturers. The MOP maintenance manual also includes a renewals and reserve funds study to help the Strata plan for future maintenance and component replacement expenses. - Annual reviews of the building envelope system conducted by MOP personnel and/or a Building Envelope Professional. These comprehensive reviews are complete with photos, recommendations and follow-ups, if required.
The maintenance manual is presented to the Strata Corporation by MOP personnel at a commissioning meeting where the MOP program will be described.
